TUITION, PAYMENTS & POLICIES

COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES & REQUIREMENTS

 

We have the dance classes limited to 15 dancers or less and have an abundance of hand sanitizers, antibacterials soaps and wipes available. 
*Kids must sanitize hands before and after each class.

*All students should be bringing their labeled water bottles into class with them as well.

*Please note that food, sports drinks and sodas are not allowed in the dance studios at any time.

LEVELS & PLACEMENTS
 

All class placements are based and approved by Instructor & Management staff only.  
Classes are based more on ability rather than age, ages are just a guideline

Toddler Dance Classes  -  18mo-3yrs
Level 1 -  3yrs-5yrs 
Level 2  -  6yrs-9yrs
Level 3  - 10yrs-14yrs
Level 4  - 15yrs-18yrs
Adult  -  18yrs +

 

PAYMENT POLICIES

A registration fee of $25 /$15 per additional child as well as the full month’s tuition is required on/or before the first day of class ($15 for Summer Sessions). Tuition is due the 25TH of the preceding month. We require a major credit/debit card be placed on file. If a payment has not been received on the last day of the preceding month, A $35 late fee will be charged per child and will be automatically charged to your card on file. A $35 fee will be charged for returned checks and for invalid credit card processing. There will be a 2.95% convenience fee on all credit/debit card transactions ​

 

Tuition is based on a 42-week year including holiday breaks.  There are several months within the dance year that have more than 4 weeks therefore the missed holidays wash out the extra weeks throughout the year.

All fees & tuition must be paid in full for the showcase participation. Competition fees must be paid on specific dates given to team members for the participation of each competition. NO exceptions will be made. 


Class cancellations due to weather will be made up according to the instructor’s schedule with advance notice. No credit or refunds will be issued as the class will proceed on another day. Upon these cancellations, a post on our Facebook group/page and an email blast will be sent out. Please make sure you have one or both methods for the most efficient communication

 

No refunds or credits will be given if a child is absent. Makeup classes will be made available or attendance to another class will be open in place of the missed class. A makeup lesson must be made within two weeks of the missed class. If your child will be absent, please inform the studio so we proceed accordingly. Please keep in mind that students must be present for all classes in order to grow through improvements as well as learning team work.

 

***NO REFUNDS GIVEN FOR DROPPED CLASSES. Once a class has started, you forfeit the tuition as you have reserved that particular spot in registered classes. Precision Dance Project will grant a credit that will remain on the account for a makeup class.

Precision Dance Project, reserves the right to close, move class times, or combine classes due to low enrollment or scheduling conflicts.
In an event of a "Pandemic closure" a credit will be issued for use upon return of services. We cannot issue refunds for issues with virtual classes on behalf of poor internet connection, Freezing, dropped connections, incompatible streaming devices or website issues. 

***Information regarding costumes, lessons, recital fees and tickets are stated in our studio policy signed upon registration, our website and can be located in the Dance Studio-Pro Parent Portal. 
Venue ticket prices are set once the venue is booked and paid. The pricing of tickets is based on covering expenses for the payment of staff members, times booked for rehearsal day & show day of said professional venue, lighting crew, sound crew, stage crew, maintenance crew, utilities of venue, performance insurance, free recital programs and the videographer.

***Registration Fees covers sanitizers, hand soaps, tissues, toilet paper, hand towels, cleaning wipes, cleaning supplies, first aid kit supplies, our studio software and security camera viewing and cloud services.

COSTUMES
Ages 2.5 - 5 years: estimated up-to $75 Non-competitive
Ages 6 years & older: estimated $75 - $120 Non-competitive

Each routine will require a costume, some classes may have 2 costumes. The costume payments will be divided into 2 increments. The dates of these installments will be given at the time of registration. Please be sure to mark your calendars to avoid missing payment due dates. Precision Dance Project will not place orders for costumes that have not been paid in full and your child will not be able to perform without a costume. Late shipping fees range between $15-$30. If a student registers after January costume fees are due upon registration to guarantee sufficient time for costume delivery. Once fees are collected they are sent to costume companies to complete costume orders.
These fees are non-refundable for any reason and payment arrangements can be made with the Director.

Each student will be measured for costumes. We add 1-1.5 extra inches for growth spurts. Measurements may not be a perfect match according to chosen costume companies at which we will round up to the nearest size based on sizing charts. On occasion we may to have alterations made to costume orders due to costume sizing charts.

 

**If your child has grown or lost inches from the time of measure (including the extra1-1.5 inches we add on), it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to arrange any alterations or exchange fees with costume companies. Precision Dance Project will not held responsible for any alterations.
 

 

ACCESSORIES
Each costume requires accessories that are not included in costume pricing (a combination of necklace/choker, bracelet, earrings, hair piece, gloves), uniform shoes & tights which must be purchased through Precision Dance Project to ensure a professional uniform appearance.  Some classes may require different shoes/tights and/or accessories

DRESS CODE

We would like to maintain a professional appearance so that each student feels & gives their best while learning in class.

All required dance wear can be ordered through Precision Dance Project supplied by Revolution Dance wear and other dance wear suppliers at an affordable price! Please make sure students wear and bring the following to each class:   

 

Ballet

Adult – Any combo of leotard, ballet skirt, leggings, tank top

 

Tap
Required shoes differ from each class 
Leotard/sports bra, fitted tank top, Revolution tan tights, black booty shorts, black leggings
Adult – Any combo of leggings, sweats, jeans, tanks, tees

 

Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Turns/Leaps, Poms, Tumble
Required shoes differ from each class
Leotard/sports bra, fitted tank top, Revolution tan tights, black booty shorts, black leggings
Adult – combo of leggings, sweats, jeans, tanks, tees

Hip Hop
Required shoes differ from each class
Sports bra, fitted tank top, Black sweat pants, black leggings, Fitted T-Shirts


No Jeans, T-shirts, track shorts, gym shorts or loose fitted clothing permitted unless specified.  No street shoes permitted in studio rooms.

* In all classes hair must be completely pulled back out of face.  
No hair beads for Acro & Tumbling Classes.
* Label everything w/ student’s first & last name
